What it is:

Viet Hoops is a 1-day co-ed basketball tournament celebrating Vietnamese athletics, held annually in the Greater Toronto Area.  Viet Hoops is open to participants aged 16+, and of Vietnamese heritage.  This year 23 teams will battle it out to be crowned the Viet Hoops 2008 Champions.  The prizes are great (no re-gifts here) and the prizes are abundant.  Don't miss out.

 

What's Good:

The third rendition of the annual Viet Hoops basketball tournament will be held on July 26th, 2008 at the Hoop Dome.  This will be our first time at this big and beautiful facility, and we are looking forward to some excellent action. 

Congratulations go out again to last year's winners, Team Punishment, captained by the big-talking Norman Tran.  Want a shot at them?  They will be back to defend their title and they will be strong.  Look for them in their maroon coloured jerseys.

 

Logo Contest:

Thank you to all those that participated in the logo contest.  The entries were fantastic!  Soon enough you'll be seeing the winning design....

How to Register:

Registration has concluded.  Thank you to those that will participating in this year's Viet Hoops 2008.

Registration Notes:

• List your team colour in preferred order.  As defending champions, Team Punishment will be wearing maroon this year.
• Please have a copy of your team's registration form printed and signed by all team members on the day of the tournament.
• $150 entrance fee per team.  This is a non-profit event.

If you haven't been to Hoop Dome before, fear not!  It's centrally located in Downsview Park just off the 401, near the corner of Keele and Sheppard Ave West.  Please see the map to Hoop Dome for directions.
